Yaay’s Muxamsa

Servings about 7 people

Ingredient: 

  • 1 package of Millet Orzo

  • Powdered Milk

  • 1 can of Sweet and Condensed Milk

  • Soow (optional)

Direction:

  1. Cook the Millet Orzo with the directions on the package. 

  2. Once the Millet is cooked, drain the water and put the sweet and condensed milk into the pot. Mix well until it looks like white mac and cheese. Then sprinkle the powdered milk over the top and add the soow on the side if one desire. 

  3. Mix the powdered milk and soow if wanted.

Note from Shea:

I like it when Yaay puts extra powdered milk over my Muxamsa. Do not substitute soow for vanilla yogurt in this recipe. If one does not want to make soow, just stick with powdered milk and canned milk. 

*This whole recipe is based on preference and trial and error. Yaay would kinda throw everything together based on how much we had of each ingredient. 

She also use to make it when I was busy grading papers.

My face everytime I got muxamsa for dinner. One of my favorite dishes.
