Soow

This is a picture of Mumamsa, but the yellowish color surrounding this dish is Soow.

Ingredient:

  • Sugar

  • Canned milk

  • Powdered milk

  • vanilla sugar packs

  • Plain yogurt

  • half of the orange flower liquid

Directions:

  1. Fill a pitcher full of water, pour half of the powdered milk and all vanilla sugar packs and stir well. Once there are no clumps add in the canned milk and stir.

  2. Add the rest of the powdered milk and stir until there are no clumps. Add the orange flower liquid. Mix well.

  3. Finally, add in the plain yogurt. Beat until there are no chunks. Make sure you taste it to see if it is sweet enough.

  4.  Place the pitcher in a dark and cool area for 10 hours (cover the pitcher), then place the pitcher in the fridge for 10 hours until you are ready to serve.

Note from Shea:
I love putting soow on top of laha and fanda. My friends like having it on Cheda and soow, but I am not the biggest fan, but don't get me wrong, it is good too.
