About the founder of L2LL
Hi! Nice to e-meet you.
My name is Shea Kerry and I am currently a student at Georgia Tech. I am studying Biomedical Engineering and I am hoping to someday work in a research lab to help people with spinal cord injuries. Reconnecting sensory and motor neurons fascinates me and I want to be part of a team that makes this possible.
Above sounds very professional and a science centered person, but once you get to know me I am a little weird. Besides my medical passion, I am passionate about traveling and learning from others. When I graduated high school I look a gap year and learned that there is more to life than just getting an education and getting a job. I know that’s a lot of peoples goals, but when I went to Senegal I learned from my host family, friends, and community that you always need to learn from others and learn from yourself. This is why I have decided to start this website because I wanted to have a space to show my creative side, learn from others, share what I have learned, and post life updates.
