Marika’s Garlic Goat Cheese Butter

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 Soften Sticks of Butter Unsalted

  • 8 cloves finely chopped Garlic

  • 2 oz Goat Cheese

  • 1/2 Tbsp dried Oregano

  • Dash Onion Salt to taste (optional)

  • 1 1/2 Tsp chopped Chives (optional) (s)

  • 1 Tsp Honey (optional) (s)

Directions for Both Overnight Oats Bases:

  1. Combined soften butter and Goat cheese into a medium bowl. Mix until well combined. * Do not melt the butter because it will change the texter once refrigerated.

  2. Then add the rest of the ingredients in to the bowl until well combined.

  3. Placed in an air tight container. Let sit in the fridge for 2 hours before use. This allows the butter to solidify.

Notes: I like adding honey and chopped chives into my butter to give it a lighter taste. I also prefer to use 6 cloves instead of 8 because it lets the other flavors pop through.

What is this good for:

  • Toasted bread for a quick garlic bread

  • Pop it in the pan with some eggs or potatoes

  • This would be good on a toasted hamburger bun

  • Fried potstickers or perogies

  • Anything you put your mind to
